Assessment

Assessment for the arts years 7 – 10 is based on the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme.

Criterion A: Knowledge and Understanding

An understanding of the issues and themes studied and of the theoretical basis of drama.

Criterion B: Application

Making, developing and performing, using appropriate techniques and skills creatively.

Criterion C: Reflection and Evaluation

Reflect upon, assess and critique their own work to develop creative thinking.

Criterion D: Artistic Awareness and Engagement

Show self-motivation, initiative, willingness to take risks, be supportive and encouraging of peers to foster a positive working environment.
