Assessment

The course is assessed both externally and internally in order to arrive at an overall level of 1 to 7 for the subject.

Method

Based on a case study issued in advance.
Section A (HL/SL)
Students answer two of three structured questions. (30 marks)
Section B (HL/SL)
Students answer one compulsory structured question including evaluative skills. (20 marks)
Section A and section B are common to both HL and SL students. SL students do not have a section C.

Mock Examinations

All students have to complete a 1,500 word written commentary on an ongoing business decision currently taking place in a real world situation.

The project may also be a research issue involving the company.
This counts for 25% of the Diploma mark.
