Information Technology - Years 7-10

Over the course of the MYP, students will learn about and apply each aspect of the design cycle: Investigate, Plan, Create a product/solution, Evaluate. They will develop a competent level of knowledge and understanding in each of the core Technology applications studied and develop a competent level of practical skills through their experiences with Information, Materials and Systems. They will become aware of the safety issues in using computer technology, especially in relation to the web and become aware of the ethical use of computers and the impact of technology on society.
