UISG Mother Tongue Languages in the PYP

 

In the Korean class this week:

The K3 Korean students used their own words to create story retells during the unit Who we are. The students made pictures and puppets to support the listeners of their stories. All students participated in that learning engagement actively.

K3 한국어반 학생들은 Who we are 단원에서 이야기를 자신의 말로 들려주는 활동을 하였습니다. 더 재미있게 들려주기 위해 스스로 그림을 그리거나 인형을 만들어서 이야기할 때 활용할 수 있었습니다. 모든 학생들이 적극적으로 참여하였습니다.

In the German class this week:  

Y3: The Y3 girls tried for the first time the taste of real cocoa as part of the UOI STP while learning about the Rainforest. To complete the task students changed the bitter taste by adding sugar and milk. 

Als Teil der Regenwald-Unterrichtseinheit probierte die 3.Klasse  zum ersten Mal richtigen Kakao. Um den bitteren Geschmack loszuwerden gaben wir am Ende Zucker und Milch dazu und genossen unser selbst gemachtes Getrank.

In the Chinese Class this week: 

Year 5 students learned about texts and dialogue, then they wrote their own play script to role play what they have learned and practiced their speaking and listening skills.

五年级学生通过学习文本,掌握情景应用对话。并通过自编自导自演的方式深化学习内容,从而提高听力和口语水平。
