Noah – Visiting Schools Programme Director
Noah is a Canadian citizen and has spent the last 6 years travelling and working abroad. Noah obtained his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Geography in Canada and his teaching degree in the UK. Noah enjoys working with students, helping them to develop their confidence and reach their full potential. His experiences in activity coordination and programme development have allowed him the opportunity to work and travel throughout Europe, Australia, North America and now Asia. His love for travel, learning and experiencing new cultures has given Noah the opportunity to develop and implement "China’s New Horizons".
Jamie Cattran – Visiting Schools Programme Coordinator
Jamie is an active individual who enjoys a wide variety of sport and outdoor adventure activities. Jamie has his Masters of Education which he obtained at Griffith University, Australia, and undergraduate degree with honors in Kinesiology which he completed in Canada. A very passionate and experienced youth worker Jamie has been working with students for over ten years. He has had a wide variety of roles at the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa; from manager, camp coordinator, facilitator of leadership programs, mentor, tutor and coach. Jamie is very excited to be working with China's New Horizons while having the opportunity to travel and experience China's diverse and fascinating culture.
Ting Drechsler – Visiting Schools Programme Coordinator and Language and Culture Specialist
Ting is a Chinese national who has lived in the UK for the past seven years. She has both a bachelor's degree in Japanese Studies from Guizhou University in China and a master's degree in Marketing Analytics from the University of Southhampton in the UK. Ting has worked for international organizations in both China and the UK before joining China's New Horizons. Ting has a strong Chinese background, is familiar with Western culture, and has worked as a translator and interpreter for many years. Before returning to China, she worked voluntarily with youth in her local church. She is great with children and enjoys outdoor activities.
