Welcome to Early Years...

At UISZC every child is considered an individual. Learning is constructive and enjoyable. Children are encouraged to think openly and question frequently. The environment is used to its fullest potential, both through activities that are planned and other opportunities that naturally arise.

The Early Years department, comprising K1, K2 and 'P' age groups (3 - 5 ½ years), is an exciting place to be. The Kindergarten and the 'P' class (Preparatory) are together in the Early Years building. This works well as each class spends part of the day in their own classroom with their own teacher and, in between these periods, they are able mix with each other and benefitting from experiential learning through play.
