A very warm welcome to the Primary and Early Years section of Utahloy International School, Zengcheng. We are a rapidly developing section of UISZC and, naturally, we consider ourselves to be a vital cog in the educational wheel of the lives of our students.
At UISZC we provide our students with the first basic steps in their educational lives through a comprehensive, stimulating and interactive program of work through PYP (Primary Years Program) a program that comes under the umbrella of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). Through PYP we are able to assist our students to lay the foundations for their entire education and as a consequence we take our role very seriously. As parents, you can be assured that your child is being educated by dedicated and internationally qualified teachers who are very committed to both their own professionalism and international mindedness on the part of your child. We aim to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who will help create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
Education is like a three-legged chair. You the parent, your child and, of course, the school, form the structure of this chair. Unless we all work together in harmony and in the best interests of your child, progress is going to be limited. It is therefore essential that you as parents are fully involved with your child's education and communicate on a regular basis with us at school, that your child consistently gives of their best and strives to achieve in all aspects of the PYP Learner Profile. Of course, we as a school must ensure that all possible opportunities are provided that will provide a quality education. Together we are convinced that we will ensure a positive and long lasting influence on the education of your child.
We are very proud of our campus, which would be the envy of many schools throughout the world, and the opportunities that this campus provides only serve to enrich the educational lives of our students.
Please feel free to contact our school or email directly either myself or your child's class teacher if you have any concerns or, questions or would like to be involved in what we provide. We look forward to working with you.
