Utahloy International School Zengcheng (UISZC) Secondary School prepares students from Grades 7 to 12 for tertiary education and to be leaders of our global society. Students are welcomed from around the world, with diverse cultural backgrounds. Teachers at UISZC are dedicated, internationally qualified and experienced, guiding our students through their secondary school journey.
The Secondary School follows the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) from Grades 7 to 10 and the IB Diploma (IBDP) for Grades 11 & 12. These programmes are academically challenging, recognized by top universities worldwide and develop the whole person.
We also offer a strong co-curricular programme through a variety of leadership, sporting and cultural opportunities given to students. The Student Representative Council (SRC) gives a voice to students, enabling them to show leadership, initiative and to be engaged in the life of the school. Extra curricular activities, such as the Model United Nations (MUN), sporting competitions and House events, enable students to further develop, taking full advantage of the school’s extensive resources and facilities.
A foundation stone of the Secondary School is its Vertical House System (VHS). By bringing students of all age groups together, the VHS supports every single student to reach their intellectual, academic and social/emotional potential. Students are prepared for a rapidly changing world and to support each other in our learning community.
Academic achievement, curiosity, responsibility, independence and respect are our living motto. It is our privilege to give every student the best opportunity to acquire skills, knowledge and understanding that will prepare them to become successful global citizens in the 21st Century.
